I. Product Overview
CH-LUX rotary vortex flowmeter is a new type of gas flow meter which adopts advanced microprocessor technology, has the advantages of strong function, wide flow range, simple operation and maintenance, easy installation and use, etc. The main technical indexes have reached the advanced level of the same kind of products in foreign countries.
Product Principle
The circulation profile of the flow sensor is similar to that of a venturi (Figure 1 below). In the inlet side of a set of spiral-type guide vane, when the fluid into the flow sensor, the guide vane forcing the fluid to produce intense vortex flow. When the fluid into the diffusion section, the vortex flow by the role of reflux, began to make the second rotation, the formation of gyroscopic vortex into the phenomenon. The feed frequency and flow size is proportional to the size of the fluid is not affected by the physical properties and density of the fluid, the detection element to measure the frequency of the second rotation of the fluid into the frequency can be obtained in a wide range of flow rate within a good degree of linearity. Signal amplified by the preamplifier, filtering, shaping converted to a pulse signal proportional to the flow rate, and then with the temperature, pressure and other detection signals are sent to the microprocessor for the cumulative processing, the results of the measurement (instantaneous flow, cumulative flow, and temperature, pressure data) shown on the liquid crystal display.

V. Installation Precautions
1, the sensor according to the flow direction sign can be installed in the vertical, horizontal or any inclined position;
2, when the pipeline is longer or closer to the source of vibration, should be installed in the flowmeter upstream and downstream support to eliminate the impact of pipeline vibration;
3, the sensor should be installed at a location with enough space for inspection and maintenance of the flowmeter, and should meet the environmental requirements of the flowmeter;
4, should avoid the interference of external strong magnetic field;
5, in outdoor installation and use, there should be a cover to avoid sun exposure and rain erosion, affecting the service life of the meter;
6, pipeline pressure test, should pay attention to the intelligent flowmeter configured pressure sensor pressure measurement range, so as to avoid overpressure damage to the pressure sensor.
Sixth, the internal structure of the product
Flow meter consists of sensors and conversion display instrument.
1, the sensor includes vortex generator, detection elements, rectifier and shell.
The vortex generator consists of a specific spiral blade, which is fixed at the front of the shell contraction section, forcing the fluid to produce a strong vortex flow.
2、Conversion display instrument
The weak voltage signal detected by the piezoelectric sensor is amplified, filtered and shaped into a pulse signal whose frequency is proportional to the flow rate, and then counted and displayed by the display instrument. The display instrument is equipped with an external interface to output various signals. The measured gas medium can be compensated for temperature and pressure, converted to volume flow under standard conditions and displayed.
