MI cables are made using single or multiple alloy heating wires as the heat source, high purity, high temperature, fused crystalline magnesium oxide as the thermal insulation, seamless continuous stainless steel or copper tubes as the sheath, and manufactured using special production processes. Places with strong corrosive effects can be covered with PE or low smoke halogen-free jackets.
● Stainless steel sheathed mineral insulated MI heating cable
The stainless steel sheathed series mineral insulated heating cable can meet the needs of high temperature conditions and high heating power (up to 269W/m). The maximum temperature that stainless steel sheathed heating cables can withstand can reach 600 ℃, and the range of conductor resistance values is from 28000-19.2 Ω/km. Mineral insulated cables have excellent mechanical strength and corrosion resistance.
● Copper sheathed mineral insulated heating cable
Copper sheathed mineral insulated heating cables can meet the needs of high temperature conditions and long-distance pipeline heating. The maximum temperature that copper sheathed heating cables can withstand can reach 250 ℃, and the range of conductor resistance values is from 480-0.5 Ω/km. For applications that require anti-corrosion or buried applications, high-density polyethylene HDPE outer sheath (MIHC) is required. MIHC can withstand temperatures up to 90 ℃, and mineral insulated cables have excellent mechanical strength.
● Copper nickel alloy sheathed mineral insulated heating cable
Copper nickel alloy sheathed mineral insulated heating cables can meet the needs of high temperature conditions and long-distance pipeline heating. The maximum temperature that copper nickel alloy sheathed heating cables can withstand can reach 400 ℃, and the range of conductor resistance values is from 28000-19.2 Ω/km. Mineral insulated cables have excellent mechanical strength and corrosion resistance.
2. Product standards
Heating cables with a maximum temperature below 250 ℃ shall comply with the IEC800 (92) standard, "Heating Cables for Heating and Anti icing of Residential Facilities with Rated Voltage of 300/500V", and heating cables exceeding 250 ℃ shall comply with the enterprise standard.
3. Electrical performance
Resistance tolerance: ± 10%
Dielectric performance - Voltage resistance of heating cable: 1200VAC/1min
Insulation Resistance - Finished Product Testing: 100MΩ/500VDC
Sheath continuity - After immersing the entire heating cable (including joints) in water for 12 hours, test the insulation resistance, which must be at least 50M/500VDC.
