Bashir tank (also known as Bachmann tank), is used for open channel flow measurement of auxiliary equipment. In the liquid flow process, non-full pipe state flow of the waterway called nullah (open channel), nullah flowmeter applications are city water supply diversion channel, thermal power plant cooling water diversion and drainage channels, sewage treatment inflow and discharge channels, industrial and mining enterprises, wastewater discharge, as well as water conservancy projects and agricultural irrigation with channels. Our company specializes in the production of GFM-C series and GFM-2 ultrasonic nullah flowmeter supporting the use of commonly used specifications of the water measuring weir tank (Bashir tank).
Bashir water measuring tank consists of three parts: upstream contraction section, short straight throat and downstream diffusion section. The bottom of the contraction section is inclined to the downstream, while the bottom of the diffusion section is inclined in the opposite direction to the bottom of the throat channel.
